Job Summary The Senior Payroll Specialist is responsible for managing and executing end-to-end payroll operations with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. The role ensures timely payroll processing, compliance with labor and social insurance regulations, and effective coordination with HR and Finance teams to support a large and diverse workforce.
Key Responsibilities Execute and oversee monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and on-time salary disbursement. Validate attendance, overtime, leave balances, bonuses, and deductions in accordance with company policies. Ensure full compliance with labor law, social insurance, and tax regulations. Prepare payroll journals, reconciliations, and coordination with the Finance team. Maintain and regularly update payroll data within HR and payroll systems. Handle payroll-related queries and provide clear explanations to employees when needed. Prepare periodic payroll reports (headcount, payroll costs, deductions, and variances) for management review. Support internal and external audits by providing payroll records and documentation. Stay updated on payroll legislation and recommend improvements to payroll processes and controls. Assist in payroll system enhancements, testing, and process automation initiatives.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.5–7 years of hands-on payroll experience, with senior or specialist-level exposure. Strong knowledge of labor law, social insurance, and payroll compliance regulations. Proven experience working with payroll systems and attendance platforms. High attention to detail, integrity, and confidentiality. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Experience in agriculture, FMCG, or manufacturing sectors is a strong advantage.
