Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, for a School Librarian. The role includes managing library resources, cataloging and organizing materials, guiding library users in utilizing resources effectively, and conducting regular library-based instructional sessions. The School Librarian will play an essential role in fostering students' love for reading and supporting their educational growth.
Qualifications Proficiency in Library Services and Library Management Knowledge of Library Science and Metadata creation Experience in providing Library Instruction and support for research Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and community members Organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining library systems Passion for education and fostering a love of learning in students Relevant degree or qualification in Library Science, Information Studies, or a related field Experience in an educational environment is a plus
