About the Role Windsor University USA is seeking an experienced SEO & Word Press Web Developer to join its Cairo team. This role focuses on optimizing and managing university websites, including Day 1 CPT programs, to improve search visibility, enhance technical performance, and support digital marketing initiatives. The selected candidate will handle SEO strategy, Word Press development, content optimization, and tracking implementation, ensuring measurable growth in traffic, rankings, and conversions.
Key Responsibilities SEO Optimization Conduct full technical SEO audits across websites Optimize meta titles, descriptions, headers, and schema markup Improve keyword targeting for academic programs and CPT pages Enhance internal linking structure Implement structured data where applicable Improve page speed and Core Web Vitals Monitor rankings, indexing, and traffic performance
Website Development & Management Develop and update pages using Word Press Build landing pages for programs, webinars, and campaigns Edit themes, templates, and page builders as needed Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility Maintain SEO-friendly URL structures Fix broken links and technical issues
Ad Tracking & Analytics Implementation Install and configure Google Tag Manager Set up Google Analytics 4 with event tracking Implement Meta Pixel and conversion tracking Configure conversion tracking for forms, Whats App, Messenger, and applications Set up UTM tracking for campaigns Ensure accurate cross-domain tracking if needed Test and validate all tracking before campaign launches
Image & Content Optimization Add SEO-optimized alt text to all images Compress and optimize images for performance Ensure accessibility compliance Align content formatting with SEO best practices
Qualifications Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Digital Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred but not required). Experience:Proven experience in Word Press development and SEOExperience with website optimization and analytics implementation Technical Skills:Strong Word Press expertise Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic PHPExperience with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager Experience with Meta Pixel and conversion tracking Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush) Understanding of schema markup and technical SEOKnowledge of page speed optimization Experience with hosting and DNS management is a plus Professional Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Detail-oriented with a performance-driven mindset
Performance Expectations Deliver measurable SEO improvements within 2 months Improve keyword rankings for priority programs within 60 days Increase qualified organic traffic within 2 months Ensure 100% of images have optimized alt attributes Implement full ad tracking within the first 30 days Maintain strong technical SEO health across all websites
