About the Role Nile Projects & Trading Co. is looking for a detail-oriented Trade Finance Officer to join our Finance team in Alexandria. As a key player in our Fashion Retail division, you will be responsible for managing the financial lifecycle of our international trade operations, ensuring that our supplier payments and documentary collections are executed with precision to support our global brand partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Payment Execution: Handle and execute all supplier payments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Documentary Collections: Manage and process import/export documentary collections in compliance with international standards. Trade Monitoring: Closely monitor trade-related payments, including Telegraphic Transfers (TT), remittances, and reimbursements. Banking & Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for banks, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve trade finance discrepancies or issues. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain meticulous trade finance records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports for management. Exposure Control: Monitor outstanding financial exposures and ensure all settlements are finalized on schedule.
Qualifications & Skills Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in trade finance operations (within a banking or corporate environment). Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel is a plus) and familiarity with trade finance systems/banking portals. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Location: Must be based in or able to commute to our Alexandria office.
