Payment Systems Application Support Engineer
Company: Nexa TG (Banking Sector Client) Location: New Cairo, Egypt (On-site) Nexa TG is hiring a Payment Systems Application Support Engineer to manage and optimize mission-critical payment infrastructures. This role is responsible for the configuration, security, and operational integrity of high-value transfer systems, including SWIFT, ACH, and fraud prevention platforms within a strictly regulated banking environment.
Responsibilities System Configuration: Manage routing rules, message formats (MT/MX), user roles, and core system parameters to ensure seamless payment processing. Payment Operations: Provide L2/L3 support for SWIFT (Alliance Access/Gateway/RMA), ACH (National Switch), and Cor Pay. Security & Compliance: Maintain system access controls and ensure strict adherence to SWIFT CSP, AML/CTF requirements, and regulatory standards. Financial Integrity: Oversee TDR (Reconciliation & Dispute Resolution) and DDA (Duplicate Detection) processes to prevent operational errors. Fraud Prevention: Support and maintain Safe Watch, Payment Safe, and Payment Guard to ensure robust authentication and fraud detection. Documentation & Governance: Maintain operational configurations, runbooks, and audit-ready documentation in line with bank governance.
Required Skills & Experience3+ years of professional experience in Payment Systems application support. SWIFT Expertise: Hands-on experience with SWIFT Alliance Access, Gateway, and RMA management. Clearing Knowledge: Deep understanding of ACH (National Switch / Local Clearing House) and message formats (MT/MX). Technical Stack: Experience with Safe Watch, Cor Pay, and reconciliation tools (TDR). Banking Domain: Mandatory experience within the banking sector, including knowledge of AML/CTF compliance.
Work Model & Requirements Location: Fully On-site in New Cairo, Egypt. Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Egypt and currently residing in the country.
