:About the job
- A highly analytical and experienced Chief Accountant to lead our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing costs and a proven track record in the food and beverage sector.
:Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Manage and optimize food manufacturing costing processes, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
- Conduct regular variance analysis (actual vs. standard costing) to identify areas for cost reduction.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and internal financial controls.
- Collaborate with the operations team to manage inventory valuation and waste tracking.
Requirements & Qualifications
:Industry Experience
- A minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience, with a mandatory background in the Food & Beverage or Food Manufacturing sector.
- Costing Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of food costing (including yield analysis and recipe costing) is mandatory.
- Certification: CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or related professional accounting certifications are highly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and a focus on process improvement.
:Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated inventory management.
- Advanced knowledge of pickles/preserved food manufacturing processes is a significant advantage.
