Qatara HRM Egypt is seeking for a skilled SAP Basis Consultant to manage, support, and optimize SAP system landscapes (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW). The role focuses on ensuring system availability, performance, security, and smooth technical operations across environments.
Key Responsibilities:Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.) Perform system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning Manage SAP transports and change requests Handle SAP system upgrades, patches, and migrations Administer user roles, authorizations, and security settings Monitor system health (CPU, memory, database performance) Perform regular backups and disaster recovery planning Ensure high availability and system reliability Work with database administrators (Oracle, HANA, SQL Server, etc.) Support SAP implementation and rollout projects Maintain system documentation and SOPs
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration Strong experience in SAP system installation, configuration, and maintenance Experience in SAP system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting Knowledge of SAP Net Weaver and SAP HANA environments Experience with operating systems such as Linux/Unix and Windows Server Understanding of database systems like SAP HANA, Oracle, or SQL Server Experience in SAP transport management (TMS), upgrades, and patching Good understanding of backup, recovery, and system security concepts SAP certification (preferred but not mandatory)
