Job summary The primary purpose of this role is to translate high-level security architectures into resilient, high-performance network realities. This position ensures that the telecom network (Mobile Core, RAN, Transport, and Cloud) is not only high-performing and efficient but also securely configured and validated against global compliance standards. The role bridges the gap between planning, implementation, and operations, ensuring that network designs meet KPI targets, security architectures are robustly implemented, and the customer experience is safeguarded through data-driven optimization. Key Responsibilities Lead the post-planning and design validation for security nodes (Firewalls, SECGWs, AAA, IDS/IPS, VPN) across all domains. Analyze security performance data to identify bottlenecks, misconfigurations, or policy inefficiencies. Ensure all implemented configurations align with 3GPP, NIST, and ISO 27001 compliance standards. Validate end-to-end security integration between the mobile core, transport, access, and OSS/BSS layers. Develop configuration baselines and security validation checklists for all new deployments. Develop post-planning documentation, including updated configuration baselines, and compliance validation checklists. Coordinate with planning teams to resolve post-deployment issues. Ensure alignment of implemented configurations with approved security architectures and compliance standards. Oversee configuration fine-tuning, policy adjustments, and security efficiency. Manage the NPO function to achieve best-in-class KPI and QoS targets across 2G/3G/4G/5G and IMS. Define optimization roadmaps and strategies for RAN, Transport, and Core networks. Oversee capacity planning and forecasting to ensure network scalability and efficiency. Supervise end-to-end KPI monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting for management and regulatory bodies. Validate the performance of new services, features, and software releases pre- and post-launch. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree: Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Engineering. Master’s Degree: In a related field (Preferred).
