Job Description
As a global Artist & Label Development company—obsessed with artist success, powered by technology, and dedicated to empowering local talent at every stage of their career—Believe is seeking a Cairo-based Artist & Label Manager to join our dynamic team of experts. Reporting directly to the Country Leader, you will play a pivotal role in the heart of the Egyptian music ecosystem.
In this role, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of artists and labels ensuring the seamless execution of our services and maintaining the highest levels of partner satisfaction. By leveraging a deep understanding of our products and the music market, you will implement robust accounts management strategies to meet objectives and elevate our artists and labels’ careers.
Job Description
Account Management
- Client Education: Act as a subject matter expert to keep clients informed on industry trends.
- Service Pitching: Present and integrate company services into client workflows.
- Business Reviews: Conduct regular strategic reviews to track growth and performance.
- Revenue Growth: Drive upsells, contract signings, and high-value renewals.
Release Management
- Consultancy: Provide expert guidance on release strategies and market positioning.
- Optimization: Ensure audio releases are technically and creatively optimized for all platforms.
- Performance Analytics: Deliver detailed reporting and actionable insights.
Audience Development
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Video Audience Development and Editorial Marketing teams.
- Strategic Activation: Execute audience growth levers and lead editorial pitching for key releases.
Risk Management
- Rights Education: Advise clients on complex legal and intellectual property topics.
- Conflict Resolution: Directly manage and resolve rights issues for top-tier accounts.
Execution of yearly role’s OKRs as defined with the manager
Qualifications
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of the artist landscape and a robust network within the music industry.
- Experience: Proven track record in music distribution, sales, and high-stakes negotiation.
- Analytical Mindset: Passionate about technology, data analysis, and long-term label development.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Languages: Native-level fluency in Arabic and fluent English.
