Role Description

We are seeking a Transport and Fleet Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in Alexandria. The role encompasses overseeing and managing daily fleet operations, optimizing logistics processes, and ensuring adherence to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The manager will plan and coordinate transport schedules, monitor vehicle maintenance, and lead operational strategies to enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety within the fleet.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Fleet Management and Fleet Operations Strong understanding of Operations Management principles Knowledge of DOT Regulations and compliance requirements Highly developed Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills Experience in managing budgets and cost optimization strategies Leadership abilities and effective team management skills Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred Proficient in relevant software/tools for fleet and operations management Strong organizational and communication skills
