Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Radiation Safety Officer at E-JUST, located in Alexandria, Egypt. The Radiation Safety Officer will oversee the university's radiation safety program by implementing and maintaining best practices for the safe handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials. The role includes conducting regular inspections, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, monitoring radiation exposure levels, maintaining dosimetry records, and providing training on radiation safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Dosimetry and Radiation measurement techniques Hands-on experience with handling and management of Radioactive Materials Strong knowledge and application of Radiation Safety protocols and best practices Expertise in Health Physics and the regulatory requirements of radiation usage Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lead safety training and communicate effectively Relevant certifications in radiation safety are highly desirable Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Nuclear Physics, Health Physics, Radiation Protection, or a related field
