Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee all financial and accounting operations within our construction business. The role requires strong expertise in project-based accounting, cost control, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:Manage and supervise the daily accounting operations and finance team Oversee project accounting, cost tracking, and budget control for construction projects Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Monitor cash flow, forecasts, and financial planning Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial policies, and audit requirements Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities Coordinate with project managers to track project costs and profitability Lead external audits and liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities Develop and improve accounting systems, policies, and internal controls Provide financial insights and reports to senior management
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate / construction accounting Proven experience in construction companies is a MUSTAudit Background is a MUSTStrong knowledge of project accounting and cost control Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong understanding of tax regulations and financial compliance Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is a plus Experience in large-scale construction or real estate development projects Familiarity with financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
