Role Description

The Senior Sous Chef role is a full-time, on-site position based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Senior Sous Chef will oversee kitchen operations, manage food preparation, and guide junior kitchen staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences. The role includes menu planning, ensuring food quality, maintaining health and safety standards, managing inventory, and collaborating with the Head Chef to consistently innovate and refine the menu offerings.

Culinary Preparation and Execution: Proven expertise in preparing high-quality dishes, plating, and managing cooking techniques for a variety of cuisines. Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills to supervise kitchen teams, mentor junior chefs, and manage staffing schedules effectively. Menu Development and Innovation: Experience in designing creative and dynamic menus while considering cost control, seasonal ingredients, and guest preferences. Health and Safety Standards: Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. Inventory and Resource Management: Ability to manage kitchen inventory, control food costs, and minimize waste efficiently.
