Job Summary: The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Service Provider networking environments and will be responsible for network design, implementation, upgrades, and customer-facing activities. This role requires solid technical expertise in large-scale SP networks and the ability to work on complex infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities: Strong understanding of Service Provider technologies, including IGP, BGP, MPLS, Segment Routing (SR), Traffic Engineering, and related protocols. Hands-on experience with Cisco ASR 9000 and Cisco 8000 platforms. Experience in network automation and programmability, including Python, Java, REST APIs, Ansible, Cisco NSO, and Dev Ops tools. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including Low-Level Design (LLD), Network Implementation Plan (NIP), Method of Procedure (MOP), and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP). Perform network outages, migrations, and change requests at customer premises. Execute hardware and software upgrades for Cisco ASR 9000 and Cisco 8000 platforms. Knowledge of NFV and SDN concepts is a plus. Basic understanding of Linux operating systems.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.3–5 years of relevant experience in Service Provider networking environments. CCNP Service Provider certification (required). CCIE Service Provider certification (preferred/plus). Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to work in customer-facing environments and during planned maintenance windows. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Passion for Service Provider networks and large-scale infrastructure.
