KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Manage mega projects requiring tactical & strategic decisions having high impact on the business and necessitating acumen of management and negotiation skills and the involvement of the company’s senior management
- Facilitate projects management by supporting the Project Engineers in coordinating between the Draftsman / DynaFlow / ENOIA and the Technical Support, Production, Delivery, Site Services until final hand-over and payment of accounts
- Introduce the appropriate mitigation strategies so as to safeguard the company’s interest and satisfy the client requirements
- Responsible to review & delegate a Project to the concerned Project engineer for effective execution
- Ensure project allocation is within capacity of Project Engineers
- Ensure regular posting of project critiques and case study reports in order to develop a company’s wide projects data base which can be used as a future platform for product and engineering development within the FPI group
- Ensure proper sub-orders allocation to relevant project sections to avoid possible delays from Project Engineer
- Supervise production, planning and projects interface for monitoring projects under production
- Supervise finance and projects interface to have effective transfer of information related to invoice submissions
- Supervise BAAN close-out in order to have an effective stock control
- Ensure Site Service contractual obligations are achieved according to plans/schedules
- Resolve all clients complaints and record them for future referrals
- Boost relationships with key customers and clients through attendance meetings as required and ensure that that clients’ request / feedback / suggestions are being reliably attended and properly communicated
- Ensure that each Project is financially monitored and controlled and act upon deviations to realise or exceed planned project profitability
- Lead and develop new policies, procedure and guidelines to realize the company’s plan to reconfigure the model of delivering on-site
- Comply with operational procedures and instructions when performing all job tasks and activities
- Lead and motivate the team and ensure that the relevant succession planning, training and other HR related programs and initiatives are being effectively rolled out and implemented within the department
- Develop a safety culture by ensuring all staff comply with HSE policies and procedures
- Participate in QHSE audits, incident reporting and review of QHSE performances as required
- Comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental control procedures and instructions
- Use personal protective equipment and safety gear when performing assigned tasks
- Report unsafe acts, incidents or safety violations
Skills
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
Minimum Qualifications:
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical or Industrial
- PMP certification
- +8 years Project management relevant experience
Job-Specific Skills:
- Knowledge of Contract Law
- Hands-on Project management experience
- Knowledge of the Company’s products, processes, accreditations, delivery, installation and quality procedures
- In depth knowledge of the logistical interactions needed for efficient project management
