About Ejad Tech:Ejad Tech is a Saudi-based company operating at the intersection of two high-growth domains: Consulting and Technology Products. On the consulting side, Ejad deploys 170+ specialists across government and enterprise clients, delivering digital and organizational transformation at scale. On the technology side, Ejad builds and commercializes its own proprietary platform — a suite of Saa S products purpose-built for the Saudi market.
Responsibilities:
1. Platform Experience Ownership Define and own the UX vision for Ejad's platform — across web, mobile, and ERP-integrated interfaces Map and continuously refine end-to-end User Journeys for every key persona (government administrator, enterprise user, internal consultant) Produce high-fidelity Wireframes, interactive Prototypes, and final UI specifications that engineering teams can build without ambiguity Establish and maintain the Ejad Design System: a governed library of components, tokens, patterns, and usage guidelines
2. Research & Evidence-Based Design Lead User Research through moderated interviews, contextual inquiry, and unmoderated usability testing Analyze behavioral data using Heatmaps, Session Recordings, and Funnel Analytics to identify friction points before they become churn Design and execute A/B Testing frameworks to validate UX decisions with statistical confidence rather than assumption Maintain a living UX Backlog — a prioritized list of experience improvements ranked by user impact and business value
3. Cross-Functional Product Collaboration Serve as the design authority in Agile sprint ceremonies — representing user needs in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives Partner with Product Managers to align UX direction with roadmap priorities and business outcomes Challenge engineering or product decisions that compromise usability — with data, not opinion Present UX strategy, research findings, and design rationale to senior leadership and, when relevant, to clients
4. Design Culture & Standards Mentor junior designers and establish a peer review process that raises the quality floor across all design output Define and enforce Accessibility Standards (WCAG 2.1 AA minimum) across all Ejad digital products Build a culture where design is treated as a strategic function — not a finishing layer applied after engineering is done
Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of professional UX/UI design experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity Must demonstrate full design process — from research and problem definition through to shipped product. Visual-only portfolios will not be considered Prior experience designing for enterprise software, government platforms, or B2B Saa S products is strongly preferred Ability to articulate design decisions to non-design stakeholders at executive level, in English and Arabic
Technical Qualifications Figma (expert level — components, variants, auto-layout, dev handoff) is a Must , experience with Adobe XD and Sketch is Preferred Figma interactive prototypes, InVision is a Must , experience with Axure RP (complex logic) and Proto Pie is Preferred Proven experience building and governing a design system from scratch is a Must , Familiarity with Material Design and SDAIA/Nafath design patterns is Preferred Moderated usability testing, interview facilitation, survey design is a Must , Eye-tracking, card sorting, tree testing tools (Optimal Workshop, Maze) is Preferred Google Analytics, Hotjar, or equivalent behavioral analytics is a Must , Mixpanel, Full Story, Amplitude is Preferredexperience with Collaboration Tools like Jira, Confluence, or equivalent Agile project management is a Must , Notion, Linear is Preferred Structured design-to-dev handoff workflows, token documentation token documentation is a Must , Experience with Storybook or Zeroheight is Preferred WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and implementation is a Must , WCAG 2.2 / ARIA standards is Preferred
