About the Role We are looking for a Mid/Senior QA Engineer who can take full ownership of quality across the platform. This is not a role for someone who just executes test cases. We need someone who performs thorough manual testing, builds automation systems, improves processes, and ensures reliability at scale. You will work closely with backend, frontend, and Dev Ops teams to design and implement testing strategies that hold under real production conditions, and contribute to shaping testing culture as we scale. Responsibilities Perform manual testing across web and API layers: exploratory, regression, and acceptance testing Design and maintain scalable automation testing frameworks Build reliable end-to-end test suites for critical user flows Validate API behavior, data integrity, and system responses Identify edge cases, system weaknesses, and failure points early Collaborate with engineers to improve testability and system design Contribute to integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines Continuously improve testing coverage, strategy, and efficiency
Requirements3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, covering both manual and automation Strong manual testing skills: exploratory testing, test case design, regression planning Experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or pytest Solid programming skills in Python, Java Script, or Type Script Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks Strong experience with API testing and validation Good understanding of modern web applications and client-server interaction Ability to analyze system behavior, identify edge cases, and debug issues effectively Strong Plus Experience with performance or load testing tools Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test integration Experience working in fast-paced or startup environments Exposure to containerized environments or distributed systems Work Setup Hybrid model: 3 days in office, 2 days remote Office location: Maadi, Ashgar Darna Business District, Building A5
