Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt, for a Researcher. The Researcher will conduct in-depth investigations, collaborate on research teams, develop methodologies, and analyze data in the fields of astronomy and geophysics. Responsibilities include generating research reports and publications, presenting findings at conferences, and contributing to scientific advancements. The researcher will also support ongoing projects and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to further organizational objectives.
Qualifications Strong research abilities, including proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation methods Experience in astronomy and/or geophysics with expertise in relevant software and tools Proficiency in scientific writing, technical reporting, and publication processes Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey research findings Postgraduate degree (Master’s or Ph. D.) in Astronomy, Geophysics, or a related field Familiarity with current trends and advancements in the fields of astronomy and geophysics Experience working in a research institution or academia is advantageous
