Role Summary: We are seeking a technically proficient and results-oriented Chemicals Sales Engineer to join our commercial team. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between technical chemical applications and commercial sales, managing the full cycle from lead generation to collection. Key Responsibilities:Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new business opportunities and untapped markets for chemical raw materials. Account Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high retention and satisfaction. Technical Consultation: Analyze customer technical requirements and propose specialized chemical solutions that align with their production needs. Sales Strategy: Prepare and execute monthly and quarterly sales plans to achieve company revenue targets. Commercial Negotiation: Prepare technical/commercial quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules within company guidelines. Operational Oversight: Manage the end-to-end order process, coordinating with logistics, warehousing, and finance to ensure on-time delivery. Financial Follow-up: Take ownership of the collection process according to agreed-upon payment terms. Customer Success: Handle technical complaints professionally, providing effective solutions and maintaining the company’s reputation. Job Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related technical field. Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in industrial chemical sales or raw material distribution. Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of chemical properties, industrial applications, and safety regulations (SDS/MSDS). Commercial Acumen: Strong grasp of pricing structures, profit margins, and the import/trading business model. Market Knowledge: An existing network within the Egyptian chemical market is highly preferred. Mobility: Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle (Essential). Travel: Willingness to perform regular field visits and travel as required to meet business needs.
