Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a NICET-certified engineering technician specializing in fire protection or engineering technology. The technician will perform technical evaluations, support design verification, and ensure engineering solutions comply with applicable codes and industry standards. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering teams, reviewing technical documentation, and contributing to efficient, code-compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities Perform technical evaluations of fire protection systems, including fire alarm and suppression systems. Review and verify engineering documentation for compliance with NFPA and applicable U. S. codes. Support engineering teams in system design optimization and technical problem-solving. Analyze system layouts and provide technical input on performance and code compliance. Develop and review technical reports and documentation for engineering projects. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper system integration and efficiency. Apply engineering technology principles to improve design accuracy and system performance. Maintain quality assurance and documentation standards in accordance with internal procedures.
Qualifications NICET certification (Level II or higher preferred) is a must.2–6 years of experience in fire protection, engineering technology, or technical engineering roles Strong understanding of engineering codes and technical documentation Experience reviewing technical drawings and engineering reports Familiarity with fire alarm and suppression systems (preferred) Good command of English (written and spoken) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work remotely and collaborate with U. S.-based teams Experience in engineering compliance and technical documentation (preferred)
