Diverse Supplies LLC, Armstrong International’s sole distributor in Egypt, is hiring a Sales & Technical Support Engineer to support steam and heat transfer solutions across heavy industries including refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers, and power generation.
Role Objective
Develop new business opportunities by identifying operational challenges in industrial plants and converting them into technically sound, commercially successful solutions.
Key Responsibilities Build relationships with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams. Identify opportunities through plant visits, technical discussions, and specification reviews. Prepare and follow up on technical and commercial proposals (RFQs, tenders, BOQs, submittals). Drive projects from inquiry through negotiation to purchase order. Recommend technically compliant equipment selections. Coordinate with internal teams and principals to finalize solutions and documentation. Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity reporting. Support customers during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting when required.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in mechanical Power or mechatronics Engineering.1–3 years experience in technical sales within oil & gas, petrochemicals, fertilizers, power generation, or industrial equipment. Strong technical fundamentals and site understanding. Knowledge of steam and condensate systems is a strong advantage. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Target-driven and customer-focused mindset.
