Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

 

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Analyze financial data to identify variances and trends; provide insights to the Finance Manager.

Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

General Ledger Management:

Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.

Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and bank reconciliations.

Maintain the fixed asset register and oversee depreciation schedules.

Compliance & Tax:

Ensure all accounting activities comply with Egyptian Accounting Standards and local tax regulations.

Prepare and file monthly tax returns (VAT, Withholding Tax, Payroll Tax, etc.).

Coordinate with external auditors for year-end audits and ensure all documentation is provided accurately.

Project & Operational Support:

Monitor project-specific expenditures and provide cost-benefit analysis where necessary.

Review and improve internal controls and accounting procedures to enhance operational efficiency.

Assist the Finance Manager in high-level strategic planning and ad-hoc financial projects.
