Context
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Telecom Engineer (15+ years of experience) to lead the design review, coordination, implementation supervision, and testing of telecommunication systems within large-scale infrastructure projects (Railway/Transport)The role involves both office-based technical leadership and site-based supervision and interface management to ensure full compliance with project specifications, international standards, and contractual requirements.Missions/Main Duties
Office-Based Responsibilities (Design & Technical Review)
- Review of detailed design documents for telecommunication systems including:
- Fiber & Copper Cabling Systems
- Multiservice Network (MSN)
- WiFi
- Radio Systems
- Telephone & Intercom Systems VOIP
- CCTV Systems
- Access control systems
- Public Address (PA)
- Dynamic Display Systems (DD)
- Master Clock Systems
- UPS Systems
- Voice Recording Systems
- Ensure compliance of all submissions with:
- Project specifications
- Employer’s requirements
- International standards (IEC, NFPA, EN, ISO, etc.)
- Local authority regulation
- Review:
- Installation drawings
- Shop drawings
- Combined Service Drawings (CSD)
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Method Statements
- Material submittals
- Verification and Validation test procedures
- Participate in design review meetings and technical workshops with stakeholders.
Profile/Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications Engineering.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects (Railway experience is a strong advantage).
- Proven experience in telecom system design review and site supervision.
- Good knowledge of international telecom standards and testing methodologies.
- Experience Testing and integrated testing environments.
- Excellent technical reporting and documentation skills.
- Very good command of English (written and spoken).
