Your Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to strengthen our QA team. In this role, you will be instrumental in defining and implementing our quality assurance strategies, ensuring that all aspects of product development meet rigorous quality standards. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and operations, to identify and address potential quality issues throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, development, and execution of test strategies, test plans, and test cases to ensure software quality. Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, system, integration, regression, and performance tests, to identify bugs and issues. Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve defects and ensure that fixes meet quality standards. Advocate for QA best practices across the team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts, leveraging tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, or similar. Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and support to foster team growth and development. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies to continuously improve the QA process.
What we look for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a proven track record of implementing successful QA processes and methodologies. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including experience with automated testing tools. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, as well as automated testing systems. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
