Role Overview:Head of Engineering is responsible for overseeing and managing the engineering functions within the organization. This involves leading engineering teams, managing projects, and ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing facility.
In your role you will:Manage and mentor multidisciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, electrical, utilities) to ensure high performance and alignment with operational goals. Oversee engineering projects from concept to delivery, managing timelines, budgets, and capital expenditure planning. Ensure effective maintenance of equipment, utilities, and infrastructure, with strong focus on quality, reliability, and food safety standards. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, while providing technical expertise to operations, maintenance, and quality departments. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, while leveraging emerging technologies to support innovation and modernization.
The ideal candidate has: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) Professional certification in Maintenance Management and Project Management (highly recommended)7-12 years of proven leadership experience (required).
