Job Overview:A leading footwear manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Accountant to join its finance team. The role will be based at the company’s main factory location and requires a strong background in industrial cost accounting. Work Location: Robeiky Industrial Zone (Factory Site).
Qualifications & Experience:•⁠ ⁠Experience: 6 to 10 years of proven experience in industrial cost accounting (Manufacturing sector experience is a must).•⁠ ⁠Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting Major).•⁠ ⁠Residency: Candidates residing in Gesr El Suez, Heliopolis, El-Salam City, or nearby areas are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:•⁠ ⁠Calculate actual production costs and analyze product costing components (Material, Labor, and Overhead).•⁠ ⁠Prepare variance analysis reports between Standard and Actual costs.•⁠ ⁠Conduct detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis and prepare regular Cost Sheets.•⁠ ⁠Monitor Raw Material and Work-in-Process (WIP) inventory levels.•⁠ ⁠Participate in physical inventory counts and analyze stock variances.•⁠ ⁠Provide management with analytical reports and financial insights to support strategic decisions.
Required Skills & Competencies:•⁠ ⁠Strong, hands-on experience in factory and industrial cost accounting.•⁠ ⁠Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, complex formulas, and data analysis).•⁠ ⁠Experience with ERP systems (Experience with Odoo is highly preferred).•⁠ ⁠Solid understanding of Inventory management and variance analysis.•⁠ ⁠Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.•⁠ ⁠High attention to detail and accuracy.•⁠ ⁠Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
