Job Summary The System Engineering team is the backbone of our operations. You will act as a bridge between L1 Support, Onboarding, and Infrastructure teams, ensuring smooth service delivery and fast resolution of complex technical issues. You will: Investigate root causes (not just symptoms), Automate repetitive tasks, Improve system stability and security, Clearly communicate technical outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. ???? Key Responsibilities
Server-Side & System Operations Monitor and manage Linux services and ensure smooth operation. Detect and analyze abnormal system behavior (high CPU, memory, disk, or service issues). Perform system updates, user and permission management, filesystem tasks, and package installations. Automation & Scripting Develop and maintain Bash and PHP scripts with proper structure and logging. Identify repetitive operational tasks and propose or implement automation solutions. Create and manage scheduled jobs using crontab. Networking & Secure Communications Diagnose issues using logs, packet captures, and tools such as tcpdump and Wireshark. Configure and validate secure communication channels using encryption technologies such as TLS/SSL and certificate-based authentication. Understand and manage the certificate lifecycle (generation, signing, renewal, and deployment). Configure and troubleshoot secure remote access and file transfer services such as SSH, SFTP, and FTPS. Understand and verify traffic flow involving firewalls, NAT, ports, and transport protocols (UDP/TCP/TLS). VoIP & Call Flow Design and implement business call flows. Troubleshoot call connectivity and voice quality issues. Analyze SIP behavior and signaling problems. Databases Manage MySQL and SQLite databases. Write conditional queries and perform backup and restore procedures. Collaboration & Documentation Work closely with other teams to escalate recurring issues and validate fixes. Maintain accurate documentation of issues, troubleshooting steps, and solutions. Participate in internal and client meetings to present findings and improvement recommendations. ???? Qualifications ✔ Strong proficiency with Linux systems and command-line tools✔ Solid understanding of networking concepts (firewalls, NAT, DNS, routing)✔ Ability to analyze encrypted and non-encrypted traffic flows✔ Familiarity with MySQL/Maria DB and monitoring/alerting tools✔ Understanding of containerization and virtualization concepts✔ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly present technical findings and communicate effectively with clients.✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.✔ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications. Plus Points (Nice to Have) RHCSA or similar Linux certification SIP / VoIP experience Experience with TLS certificates and PKI concepts Knowledge of SSH hardening and secure file transfer protocols Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation Experience in telecom or service provider environments Python scripting Why Join Us?
