Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement: Sourcing and purchasing raw materials required for production.
• Quality Control: Monitoring the quality of all incoming materials directly from suppliers.
• Financial Oversight: Tracking and monitoring all costs associated with incoming materials and the financial value of materials used in production.
• Inventory Management: Overseeing the raw materials warehouse, including receiving, storing, and organizing stock, stock count weekly.
• Material Issuance: Accurately distributing and tracking raw materials as needed for production orders everyday.
• Supplier Relations: Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
• Cost & Quality Improvement: Actively researching and identifying new suppliers or alternative materials that offer better quality or lower costs.
• Team & Succession Planning: Covering the responsibilities of any absent assistant and actively participating in the search and training of a new assistant if the position becomes vacant.
• Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of all purchasing, inventory, and material usage.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with suppliers, internal teams, and potential new hires.
• Reporting: This role reports to the Supply Chain Manager or Head or operation.
