???? Role Overview As an Odoo Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and implementing Odoo modules based on business requirements. You will play a key role in delivering end-to-end ERP solutions, integrating systems, and ensuring smooth performance across modules—especially within the Accounting domain. The ideal candidate should have real-time project experience, a strong grasp of Odoo architecture, and the ability to translate functional needs into robust technical solutions.????️ Key Responsibilities Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules using Python and Odoo framework. Work extensively on the Accounting module, including configuration, customization, and integrations. Design and implement new features aligned with business workflows and financial processes. Collaborate with Functional Consultants to understand client requirements and convert them into technical deliverables. Create and maintain custom reports using QWeb, XML, and other reporting tools. Develop APIs and integrate Odoo with third-party systems such as payment gateways, CRMs, logistics tools, or external accounting platforms. Optimize system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support during and after implementation. Handle data migration, system upgrades, and version transitions (Odoo Community/Enterprise). Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing cycles, and deployment processes. Ensure security, reliability, and performance of ERP solutions. Support UAT, debugging, and post-go-live enhancements.???? Required Experience2 to 5 years of hands-on development experience in Odoo. Proven experience working on live Odoo implementation projects. Strong expertise in Odoo Accounting module is mandatory. Experience in customizing accounting workflows such as:Chart of Accounts Invoicing & Billing Vendor & Customer Payments Tax Configuration (GST/VAT or regional compliance) Financial Reporting Reconciliation Processes Experience working with Odoo versions (v13, v14, v15, v16, or newer). Strong understanding of ERP concepts and financial business processes.???? Technical Skills Required Proficiency in Python programming. Strong knowledge of Odoo ORM, Models, Views, Wizards, and Security Rules. Hands-on experience with:XML, QWeb, Java Script Postgre SQL database Odoo Studio & Custom Module Development Experience with API integrations (REST/SOAP). Familiarity with Git/version control systems. Knowledge of deployment environments (Linux, Odoo.sh, Docker is a plus). Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and system optimization. Understanding of accounting logic and financial data structures within ERP.✅ Preferred Qualifications Experience working in multi-company and multi-currency environments. Exposure to other modules like Sales, Purchase, Inventory, or Manufacturing is an added advantage. Understanding of accounting compliance standards and localization. Prior experience working with international clients is a plus. Ability to work independently and manage development timelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
