Role Description This full-time on-site role is based in Alexandria, Egypt, for a Senior SQL Database Administrator. The role involves managing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL databases, ensuring high performance, availability, and security. Responsibilities include database administration, design, and replication processes, as well as troubleshooting and resolving database-related issues. The role requires a proactive approach to improving database performance and maintaining data integrity while collaborating with cross-functional teams to fulfill organizational goals.
Qualifications Must be Alexandria resident or open to re-allocate Proven experience in Database Administration with proficiency in managing SQL databases Strong skills in Database Design and understanding of multi-tier architectures Expertise in implementing and managing Replication processes for reliable data distribution Ability to perform Troubleshooting and resolve database-related issues efficiently Good understanding of Databases and database management systems Knowledge of database security, optimization, and backup/recovery strategies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience working with healthcare-related databases is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
