Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Accountant, located in Cairo, Egypt. The Chief Accountant will oversee and manage financial activities, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, preparing tax filings, and budgeting. Additionally, the role may involve supervising junior accounting staff and preparing financial forecasts to support business planning and decision-making processes.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Accounting Principles, Financial Reporting, and Financial Analysis Advanced knowledge of Tax Regulations, Compliance, and Budgeting Experience with Accounting Software and ERP systems Leadership skills and experience in team management and delegation Excellent Analytical Thinking, Problem-Solving, and Decision-Making abilities Effective Communication and Interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial sector is preferred Proficiency in both English and Arabic is beneficial
