Role Overview:
This role is designed for enterprise integration professionals with experience in ERP-centric environments (SAP, Oracle, and similar platforms) who want to work on advanced planning and supply chain transformation programs. You will work within Orion’s OMP Center of Excellence, responsible for integrating OMP as a core planning platform with ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle Fusion. The role focuses on enabling reliable, scalable, and well-governed OMP–ERP integrations that support demand planning, supply planning, MRP, and production scheduling processes. If your background includes SAP or Oracle ERP integrations, this role builds directly on your experience and positions you at the center of OMP-based planning implementations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Design and implement end-to-end integrations between OMP and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle Fusion, etc.)• Translate OMP and ERP functional requirements into integration workflows, interfaces, and data mappings• Build and maintain integrations supporting OMP planning processes such as:o Demand Planningo Supply Planningo MRP & Production Planningo S&OP / Integrated Business Planningo Detailed Scheduling• Align ERP master and transactional data with OMP planning data models and requirements• Work closely with OMP solution consultants, ERP teams, and integration architects to ensure tight OMP–ERP alignment• Support data extraction, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution across OMP and ERP• Execute unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT for OMP–ERP interfaces• Troubleshoot, optimize, and support OMP-related integrations post go-live• Produce and maintain integration specifications, interface documentation, and deployment artifacts
Required Experience & Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field• 3–5 years of experience in enterprise systems integration, implementation, or support• Hands-on experience building complex ERP integrations• Strong understanding of ERP-centric application landscapes, particularly in supply chain contexts• Ability to translate business and system requirements into working integration solutions• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Customer-oriented, delivery-focused mindset• Professional working proficiency in English• Willingness to travel when required
ERP & OMP Affinity:
• Experience integrating SAP or Oracle ERP systems (MM, PP, or Supply Chain modules)• Familiarity with ERP integration mechanisms such as BAPI, RFC, IDoc, or APIs• Experience integrating planning or supply chain systems is highly relevant• Prior exposure to OMP or advanced planning platforms is a strong plus but not required
Nice to Have / Bonus Skills:
• Experience with SAP PO / SAP PI or similar middleware platforms• Experience with REST, SOAP, and HTTP-based APIs• Experience with ETL tools, databases, and data transformation techniques• Programming or scripting experience (Java, Java Script, Python, SQL, etc.)• Experience designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise integrations and APIs
