Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Junior Pre-Sales Engineer to support our Sales and Technical teams in designing and proposing IT infrastructure and enterprise solutions. The role involves understanding customer requirements, preparing technical proposals, recommending the right technologies, and assisting in solution sizing, pricing, and tender submissions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Technical Proposals
- Gather customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Design and size IT infrastructure solutions (servers, storage, virtualization, backup, security, and cloud)
- Prepare technical proposals, submittals, and solution documentation
- Ensure compliance with RFPs/tenders and customer specifications
- Review and validate technical offers before submission
- Position Target’s strengths against competitors
Sales & Technical Support
- Provide technical support and consultation to the Sales team
- Participate in customer meetings, presentations, and discussions
- Work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure accurate design and smooth delivery
- Stay updated with new technologies and vendor solutions
Pricing & Opportunities
- Assist in solution costing and pricing using vendor price lists
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement for quotations
- Support Account Managers in identifying and developing new opportunities
