Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Purchase Specialist based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Purchase Specialist will manage purchasing processes, handle purchase orders, and oversee procurement activities. Responsibilities include sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, ensuring cost-effective purchasing decisions, maintaining supplier relationships, and monitoring inventory levels to meet operational needs. The Purchase Specialist will also contribute to evaluating supplier performance and preparing purchasing reports.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of Purchasing Processes, Purchase Management, and Purchase Orders Proficiency in Purchasing and maintaining supplier relationships Demonstrated Analytical Skills for evaluating data and making cost-effective decisions Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Proficiency in procurement or inventory management systems is an advantage Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred Previous experience in heavy transportation or logistics is a plus
