The Role!The Inventory Senior Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, control, and visibility across the warehouse. The role ensures stock integrity from inbound to outbound, prevents losses, and enables smooth operations through disciplined processes, audits, and real-time issue resolution. - Inventory Control & Accuracy
- Own daily inventory accuracy across all locations and zones.
- Ensure correct stock movements in the WMS (receiving, put-away, transfers, picks).
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, variances, and mismatches.
- Maintain SKU-level accuracy, batch/lot control, and expiry tracking where applicable.Cycle Counting & Audits
- Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts.
- Lead full and partial stock audits.
- Analyze variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure audit findings are documented and closed.Team Coordination & Execution
- Supervise inventory coordinators and counters on the floor.
- Assign tasks, monitor execution, and ensure adherence to SOPs.
- Act as the first escalation point for inventory-related issues.
- Support onboarding and training of inventory staff.Process Compliance & Improvement
- Enforce inventory SOPs and best practices.
- Ensure proper labeling, binning, zoning, and location discipline.
- Work closely with inbound, outbound, and operations teams to prevent inventory leakage.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to reduce errors and losses.Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Track and report inventory KPIs (accuracy %, shrinkage, variance rate).
- Provide daily and weekly inventory status reports.
- Flag high-risk SKUs and recurring discrepancy patterns.
- Support management with inventory insights and readiness reports.
Job Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Hands-on experience with cycle counting and audits.
- Strong understanding of WMS and stock movement logic.
- Experience supervising teams in a warehouse environment.
