RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
- Determine project requirements to align with client expectations.
- Ensure clients' needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver projects on agreed deadlines.
- Address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Conduct initial site visits to prevent conflicts between as-built drawings and design.
- Collaborate with internal teams on value engineering within client budget constraints.
- Inform the Principal and General Manager of any unexpected project delays.
- Perform additional tasks as requested by the Principal or General Manager.
- Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, tracking changes, delays, and progress reports.
- Archive all project closure documents for future reference.
- Receive and verify as-built plans against actual site dimensions.
- Coordinate with suppliers and lighting designers as needed.
- Review Bill of Quantities (BoQ), specifications, and cost estimates.
- Exhibit flexibility and self-motivation as a team player, capable of working under pressure.
- Perform original design work based on specifications, sketches, and ideas.
- Analyze space utilization effectiveness and adapt to changing space needs.
- Recommend actions to address new requirements.
- Assist in preparing architectural plans for existing buildings lacking documentation.
- Conduct preliminary studies of proposed projects to gather space and design requirements, including measurements and sketches.
- Provide support to architects and management staff.
- Collaborate on concept, schematic, and design development with the team, depending on project scale.
- Generate presentation materials, including computer models, drawings, and precedent images.
- Manage project documentation delivery and maintain records, including meeting minutes and email communications.
- Produce design drawings that align with company standards and quality expectations.
- Ensure project criteria are met and deliver documents on time.
- Meet with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to assess interior needs and identify optimal service providers.
