Job Purpose


The Site engineer manages, coordinates the technical aspects of the projects throughout the construction period. He/She works closely with interior designers, architects and contractors to ensure that the designs are being implemented properly. Additionally, monitors closely whether the project is being progressed on time and within the budget constraints.


Job Responsibilities


• Act as the main technical advisor on construction sites for contractors, subcontractors, and operatives


• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and operations


• Prepare progress reports, site visit reports, and project forecasts


• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and regulations during implementation


• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure work meets agreed quality standards


• Oversee preparation of architectural drawings, contracts, schedules, and specifications


• Provide technical architectural support and guidance to team members


• Manage project documentation including budgets, punch lists, inspection reports, and schedules


• Track materials and tools to ensure efficient allocation and minimal waste


• Interpret design drawings and specifications to ensure accurate site execution


• Ensure projects meet agreed budgets, timelines, and quality standards


• Attend client meetings to communicate updates and project progress


• Resolve technical issues and site challenges


• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to align design intent with site execution


Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field


• 8–10 years of experience as a Technical Lead or Project Manager


• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills


• Ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively


• Strong attention to detail, especially in designs and quality standards


• Goal-oriented and self-motivated mindset


• Ability to create innovative solutions to overcome construction challenges


Working hours:Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM


Location:Zamalek, Cairo
