Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Patient Account role based in Alexandria. The responsibilities include managing patient accounts, providing excellent customer service, handling billing and insurance claims, maintaining accurate patient records, and using medical terminology to interact effectively with healthcare professionals and patients. The role ensures compliance with hospital policies and supports efficient financial operations for patient services.

Qualifications

Proficiency in providing exceptional Customer Service and strong Communication skills Knowledge of Medical Terminology and its appropriate usage in billing and documentation Experience with Insurance processes and understanding of Medical Billing procedures Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to maintain accurate patient records Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented healthcare environment Relevant experience in hospital administration or patient account management is a plus Familiarity with medical software systems is advantageous
