Purpose of Job To plan, manage, and optimize all logistics and distribution activities across the Group, ensuring secure, compliant, timely, and cost-effective movement of high-value goods (gold, diamonds, jewelry,antiques, furniture) and operational materials. The rolesafeguards assets, supports sales and retail operations, and ensures seamless coordination with suppliers, warehouses, and logistics partners.
Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement group-wide logistics strategies aligned with business growth and risk management. Design logistics workflows for wholesale, retail, and project-based movements (exhibitions,store openings, tourism events). Optimize transportation routes, lead times, and inventory flows. Manage inbound and outbound shipmentsfor all Group products & material Coordinate secure transportation, armored services, and specialized handling for high-value items. Oversee last-mile delivery to retail locations and clients. Ensure compliance with local and international regulations (customs, insurance, import/export,precious metals laws). Manage shipping documentation, customs clearance, and regulatory approvals. Coordinate with legal and finance teams on insurance coverage and risk mitigation. Select, negotiate, and manage logistics providers, couriers, and freight forwarders. Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs), costs, and performance. Build relationships with secure transport and specialized logistics partners. Coordinate with warehouse managers, treasurers, and inventory controllers. Ensure accurate stock movement tracking and reconciliation with ERP systems. Support cycle counts, audits, and physical verifications. Implement strict security procedures for transport and storage. Identify risks (loss, damage, delay) and implement mitigation plans. Control logistics costs and improve efficiency without compromising security. Prepare logistics performance reports (cost, delivery time, incidents). Analyze bottlenecks and implement process improvements. Support expansion projects, new stores, and international operations.
Job Requirements Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management,or related field (master’s preferred).10–12 years in logistics management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in luxury, or premium industries is highly desirable. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), logistics software, and international trade documentation. Strong understanding of global logistics, customs regulations, and luxury product handling. Fluency in English. Skills & Competencies:Strong logistics planning and operational management skills.
