Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an FM Engineer located in Alexandria, Egypt. The FM Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and management of facilities. Daily tasks include conducting routine inspections of facilities, overseeing maintenance and repairs, coordinating with various teams and vendors, optimizing energy efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The role also involves responding promptly to facility issues and implementing preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
Strong technical skills in facility maintenance, including HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing Project management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and coordinate workflow Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements for facility operations Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address maintenance or operational challenges Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams, clients, and vendors Proficiency in relevant facility management software and basic computer skills Experience in facility management, engineering, or a related field; prior experience in a similar on-site role is preferred Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or a related discipline Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure Certifications in facility management or related areas are an advantage
