Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and execution-focused Product Owner to join our growing product team. In this role, you will partner closely with the Product Manager to turn high-level strategy into shippable software.
While the Product Manager focuses on market research and defining the strategic "What" and "Why," you will own the "How" and "When." You will be the day-to-day captain of the engineering squad, managing the backlog, refining user stories, and ensuring our developers have exactly what they need to deliver value to our B2B clients.
- Backlog Management & Requirement Translation
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand the strategic roadmap and feature scope.
- Translate high-level requirements and scope documents into detailed User Stories with clear Acceptance Criteria.
- Maintain a healthy, prioritized backlog in Jira, ensuring the team always has work ready for the next sprint.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the development team, unblocking issues and answering questions in real-time.
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Reviews.
- Monitor sprint progress and velocity, flagging risks to the Product Manager early if timelines are in jeopardy.
- Quality & Acceptance
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on completed features to ensure they meet the defined scope and quality standards before release.
Job RequirementsExperience: 2 years of experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a B2B software environment.Agile Knowledge: Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and rituals.Technical Aptitude: You don't need to code, but you must be comfortable discussing API integrations, data structures, and technical feasibility with engineers.Tooling: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, ClickUp).Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you can explain complex logic clearly.
