Job purpose: The IT Governance & Change Management role is responsible for establishing, enforcing, and continuously improving IT governance controls, with a primary focus on Change Management, compliance, and audit readiness. The role ensures that all IT changes are assessed, approved, implemented, and documented in a controlled manner, aligned with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and IT service management best practices. Additionally, the role supports risk reduction, audit remediation, and the sustainability of governance processes across Technology.
Key accountabilities:Develop, enhance and maintain IT standard operation procedures “SOP” such as service catalogue, change and service management…etc, and make sure all SOPs are aligned. Develop and maintain documentation and reports about the current environment setup, standard operating procedures, and best practices. Work on 24×7 and on-call support during critical issues which may impact the service. Follow up on all PCI activities for all Geidea infrastructure. Own the IT Change Management governance framework, ensuring all technology changes are assessed, approved, and controlled in alignment with internal policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements. Act as the governance authority for CAB operations, including decision facilitation, escalation of high-risk changes, and enforcement of change approval outcomes. Own the coordination and closure of audit observations related to IT governance, including providing evidence, agreeing remediation approaches, and ensuring sustainable control implementation. Drive continuous improvement of IT governance practices by identifying control gaps, enhancing maturity, and embedding governance processes across Technology teams.
Must have technical/professional qualifications:3-5 years of experience in service/IT Operations Management Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer, Electronic Engineering or equivalent Understanding of Network and security technologies. Knowledge on PCI and payment industry required activities-preferred. Knowledge on ITIL and IT governance. Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (Jira or equivalent) Strong understanding of ITIL / IT governance practices Excellent coordination, communication ( Arabic , English) and documentation skills.
