A Design Architect is responsible for conceptualizing and developing architectural designs that align with client needs, regulatory standards, and aesthetic goals. They play a key role in shaping the visual and functional aspects of buildings and spaces, from initial sketches to final construction documents.
Responsibilities-Lead the architectural design process from concept development through construction documentation.-Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and project feasibility.-Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and material selections.-Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design intent and safety standards.-Coordinate with project managers to align design objectives with project timelines and budgets.-Review and approve shop drawings, submittals, and change orders.-Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.-Present design proposals and progress updates to clients and internal teams.-Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to integrate innovative solutions into projects.·
Qualifications:-Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.-Proven track record of managing architectural projects from concept to completion.-Strong proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and other architectural design software.-Excellent knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.-Exceptional communication and presentation skills.-Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative office environment.-Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.-Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.-Strong organizational and time management abilities.
