Responsibilities:· Handle the full import cycle, including order processing, documentation preparation, and coordination with suppliers.· Follow up with suppliers throughout the purchase order cycle while ensuring the 7 Rs of logistics are met (right product, quantity, condition, place, time, customer, and cost).· Review and verify proforma invoices and prepare timely payment requests.· Check, verify, and ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents (invoice, packing list, BL/AWB, COO, etc.).· Request, review, and compare freight quotations from multiple freight forwarders.· Coordinate shipment booking, tracking, and delivery arrangements with freight forwarders and carriers.· Arrange insurance certificates with insurance providers for all applicable shipments.· Manage courier services for express and small-package shipments.· Review and confirm Letters of Credit (LCs) to ensure compliance with commercial and shipping terms.· Coordinate the full customs clearance process with brokers and ensure timely release of shipments.· Ensure all import documentation and compliance requirements are met in alignment with customs and regulatory standards.· Monitor shipment status, troubleshoot delays, and ensure goods reach their final destination smoothly.· Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to purchase orders, shipments, and arrivals.· Calculate the expected customs fees for each shipment.· Issue ACID numbers for all relevant shipments.
Qualifications Faculty of Business Administration-Supply Chains & Logistics or Faculty of Commerce-Foreign Trade branch.1 - 3 years of experience working in Logistics. Having a valid certificate of customs clearance is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication and time management skills Well-developed motivational and leadership skills Excellent verbal and written communication skillslearn all about the exporting process.
