About the Role We are looking for an experienced Backend Software Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience to join our growing engineering team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems that power our core products and services. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend services and APIsArchitect and implement microservices and distributed systems Optimize database performance and design efficient data models Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following best practices Lead technical design discussions and code reviews Collaborate with frontend, Dev Ops, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner Required Qualifications5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) – must have production experience building high-performance services with GoDeep expertise with MySQL – including query optimization, indexing strategies, schema design, and handling large-scale datasets Strong proficiency in Python – experience building backend services, scripting, or data processing pipelines Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development Experience with relational databases and writing complex SQL queries Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices (testing, code reviews, documentation) Nice to Have Experience with containerization (Docker) Familiarity with message queues (Kafka, Pub Nub) Experience with NoSQL databases (Postgre SQL, Mongo DB) Contributions to open-source projects or a strong Git Hub profile Background in high-traffic or distributed systems Our Tech Stack (you’ll work with) Primary languages: C++, Go, Python Databases: MySQLInfrastructure: AWS / Docker If you’re a strong backend engineer passionate about writing performant, reliable systems in Go and Python, and you have deep MySQL experience — we’d love to hear from you!
