  • Develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the Ontario curriculum for high school students.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning experiences.
  • Support students in developing scientific literacy, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance, and behavior in accordance with school policies.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, science fairs, and school events as required.
  • Help lead and monitor students during experiments
  • Assist in marking of lab reports
  • Preparing and monitoring orders for chemicals and lab equipment
  • Ensuring proper and safe disposal of all waste from experiments and hazardous materials.
