- implement, and continuously review the company’s credit policies, procedures, and credit risk framework.
- Evaluate customers’ financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories to assess creditworthiness.
- Approve, monitor, and adjust customer credit limits in line with company policy and risk appetite.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Identify high-risk accounts and take proactive actions to minimize exposure and bad debts.
- Work closely with the Sales team to balance business growth with credit risk control.
- Lead and manage the credit and collections team, including performance monitoring and training.
- Handle escalated collection cases and negotiate payment plans with key customers.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial regulations.
- Prepare detailed periodic reports on credit exposure, overdue balances, DSO, and bad debt provisions.
- Coordinate with Finance and Legal departments on disputed invoices, claims, and legal collection actions.
- Monitor market conditions and customer industries to anticipate potential credit risks.
- Support month-end and year-end closing related to accounts receivable and provisions.
- Recommend improvements to credit processes and systems to enhance efficiency and control.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in credit management.Strong knowledge of credit policies, collections, and risk management.Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in financial systems and MS Excel.
