Project Engineer Job description
- Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor the assigned engineering projects
- Monitor project activities compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Understand the process of local authority submissions for various types of solar installation projects
- Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status.
- Liaising with stakeholders to align the expectations of the project.
- Coordination of permitting for projects.
- An ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules, and step-by-step action plans.
- Help project managers monitor project progress and team member’s performance and provide updates to project stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and plans.
- Schedule stakeholder meetings, and document and generate reports.
- Cooperate and communicate effectively with the project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
- Assist in the development and engineering to develop a preliminary design budget.
- Support bid packages and procure materials and services as needed.
- Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide progress reports and other status updates to clients and management as required.
