Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and optimization of vending machines, while also managing and troubleshooting our web-based and mobile smart platform. The role combines field operations, technical maintenance, and software/platform support, ensuring seamless machine performance and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Maintenance
Install, configure, and maintain vending machines (hardware and peripherals).
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal uptime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and connectivity issues.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts and technical support.
Monitor machine performance and service-level compliance.
Smart Platform & System Management
Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the company’s web and mobile vending platform.
Ensure real-time connectivity between vending machines and the cloud platform.
Monitor system logs, alerts, and performance dashboards.
Support integration of payment gateways, telemetry systems, and IoT devices.
Collaborate with developers to deploy updates, patches, and new features.
Software & Technical Support
Provide technical support for internal teams and external clients.
Troubleshoot issues related to APIs, databases, servers, and applications.
Perform system testing and validation after updates or maintenance.
Document issues, solutions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Qualifications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of vending machine hardware, electrical systems, and IoT devices.
Experience with web development (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with backend technologies (e.g., Python, Node.js, PHP, or Java).
Experience with mobile applications (Android and/or iOS support).
Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL).
Knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, and system integrations.
Understanding of networking, connectivity, and telemetry systems.
