Role Purpose
The Presales Senior Consultant/Manager is a hands-on, customer-facing individual contributor responsible for shaping, positioning, and validating software-based solutions for MIT customers. The role supports the full sales cycle—from early customer engagement through proposal submission and deal closure—by translating business needs into compelling, delivery-ready solution designs. The role acts as a trusted advisor to customers and a key technical partner to sales teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with MIT’s capabilities and market strategy.
Location and Reporting Level
The position will be in Egypt working remotely with various teams in India and KSA, with possibility to travel to KSA once needed.
The candidate will be reporting to Head of Presales.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers to understand business objectives, challenges, and software requirements.
- Lead and support customer discovery sessions, requirement clarification meetings, and solution alignment workshops.
- Design and articulate end-to-end software solutions, ensuring technical feasibility, scalability, and alignment with customer expectations.
- Develop high-quality customer-facing presentations (PowerPoint) and formal proposal content (Word) including solution descriptions, architectures, assumptions, and scope definitions.
- Own and contribute to the technical sections of RFPs, RFIs, and proposals, ensuring clarity, compliance, and differentiation.
- Participate in bid clarification meetings and bid defense presentations with customers.
- Position MIT solutions effectively by clearly communicating value, differentiation, and business impact.
- Support solution demonstrations, walkthroughs, and proof-of-concept discussions when required.
- Work closely with sales, delivery, and partners to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and delivery aligned.
- Identify presales risks, assumptions, and dependencies and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
- Support smooth handover to delivery teams post-award, ensuring continuity and expectation alignment.
